About

I’ll go by LJ on this blog not because I don’t want to “out” myself but because I want to respect my husband’s privacy. Last summer my husband (then boyfriend) and I found out we both had fertility issues. We jumped head first into IVF treatments which were presented as our best option. In March we started our third round of IVF, with a new doctor and hospital. I plan to keep this online journal as a way to share and explore this thing that we are going through.

I’ve just come across your blog and it seems like we have a lot in common. I started treatment at Columbia, which was a disaster and am now at NYU – probably going in for my 3d transfer tomorrow. I’m really happy that your dreams are coming true and I so hope that mine do too!!!

We also are using the same wordpress design! :-)

I just found your blog and started reading because we have the same design…what a thing to have in common. I’ve just started my own blog and will now have to watch how your journey progresses.
    Congratulations!

Hey! Your log is great… I’m currently in the last leg of my first IVF at NYU. I’m constantly digging through the internet to find information on IVF and people who have gone through this… But, your blog is the best one out there… Highly informative (and very entertaining) — thanks!!!

I’m glad the IVF had a happy ending for you! Congratulations!!!

Just had my 3rd IVF transfer yesterday, so was obsessingly searching for that magic tip that would ensure my confidence that I am indeed doing “everything I can”. Instead, I found your blog, and all the maddening, human tornados of thought that have occupied my mind since starting this process.

You made me smile. You made me laugh. Maybe that was the thing I was supposed to find.

    Thank you.

    Michele
